Lorena Aschemeier Herge

Lorena Helen Aschemeier was born on January 5, 1917 to Ernest and Alma (Norden) Aschemeier. On March 24, 1940 she married Lawrence Carle Herge. To this union were blessed three children: Lawrence Carle, Jr., Donald Raymond, and Ruth Ann.

Lorena and Lawrence Herge live at Rt. 4 (U.S. 6), Napoleon, Ohio. Lawrence is employed by the County Highway, Napoleon, Ohio. Lorena and Lawrence are members of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, Ohio.

On October 29, 1961 Lawrence Herge, Jr., oldest son of Lorena and Lawrence Herge, married Lois Fedderke. They have made their home in Camden, Michigan. To this union were blessed two children: David Scott, born September 8, 1962 and Dianne Ruth, born October 6, 1964. Lawrence, Jr., farms and also works for Aro Corporation in Bryan, Ohio.

Donald Herge married Charlene Punches on March 11, 1963. Their first few years of marriage were spent in Augsburg, Germany. Donald spent six years of service with the U.S. Army. Donald and Charlene were blessed with two children: Julie Ann was born in Augsburg, Germany on September 10, 1964 and Michael Ray was born in Defiance on October 17, 1968.

Donald and Charlene have made their home at Rt. 4, Napoleon, Ohio. The home they are living in used to be the Parish house for St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. They bought and moved the home to County Road 17 in 1969. Donald is employed at General Motors in Defiance, Ohio.

Ruth Ann Herge married Larry Apt on April 4, 1970 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. They have two children: Tammy Ann, born February 15, 1971 and Jerry William, born July 22, 1973.

Ruth Ann attended Defiance College and received her degree in Education. Larry is employed by Aro Corporation, Bryan, Ohio. Ruth Ann and Larry have made their home at Rt. 1, Stryker, Ohio.
