Harold Hashbarger Family

Harold was born in Marion Township in Henry County on May 10, 1899 to Oscar and Margaret (Decat) Hashbarger. He was born on a farm and passed away September 3, 1962, on his farm two miles from where he was born in Marion Township.

On December 20, 1923, he met and married Margaret Brown born in Acme, Pennsylvania. The couple met in Detroit where they both attended the same church. Both worked in Detroit for about four years.

They moved back to Ohio where six children were born. Marian born December 10, 1924, married and lives in Southfield, Michigan, and has three children, Nancy, Robert, and Ronald, and one grandchild, James.

Lee born January 4, 1927, married and lives in Lima, Ohio, and has two children, Daniel and Sonya.

Robert born December 17, 1929,  married and lives near Leipsic and has four children: Debra, Jeff, Shelia, and Troy; and has two grandchildren, Kory and Aaron.

Richard born March 31, 1934, lived one day.

Ned Hashbarger born January 15, 1937, married and lives in Charleston, South Carolina, where he is stationed on submarines and has been in the Navy seventeen years.

Kenneth born October 2, 1939, married and lives in Malinta and has three children, David, Danny, and Deanna.
