Henry Harmon Family

Henry Harmon was born November 3, 1853, in Henry County, the son of Daniel and Rosanna (Mauk) Harmon. He married Mary Ellen Gehrett. To this marriage were born four children: Stella (Heist), Laura (Gilson, Conway), Anna (Bokerman), and Oscar.

Oscar married Lizzie Kuhlman in 1902. To this union were born twelve children: Harry, Mable, Leo (died in infancy), Floyd, Doris, Evelyn, Lawrence, Donald, Helen, Hazel, Robert, and Junior.

Harry married Josephine Vajen.

Mable married Emery Foor. They have four children: Wayne, Dale, Arlene (Peterson), and Russell. There are fifteen grandchildren.

Floyd married Bertha Foor, sister of Emery.

Doris married Carl Kruse. They have a son Norman, a daughter Marilyn (Zimmerman), and three grandchildren.

Evelyn married Milton Vajen, two children, Kenneth and Betty (Haas), were born to them. They have five grandchildren. Milton died in April 1974.

Lawrence married Eleanora Mahanke, Ronald and Marjory are their children. They have four grandchildren.

Donald married Opal Rupp. He died in November 1954.

Helen married Chalmer Vajen. They have two sons, Richard James and Herbert. They have five grandchildren.

Hazel married Alvin Eickhoff. They have three children: Timothy, Thomas, and Maxiene.

Robert married Hildegard Miller. To this marriage were born seven children: Ralph (died in infancy), David, Richard, Terry, Linda, Michael, and Janet. Robert died in. August, 1974.

Junior married Joan Sworden. They have three children: Gary, Gregory, and Darlene. They have one grandson.
