The Christine Schwiebert Hagen Family

Daughter of Henry and Anna Schwiebert, she was born Nov. 12, 1883, at the home place near Hamler, Ohio, she married Wm. Hagen, born Sept. 12, 1878. They were in grocery partnership known as Meyer and Hagen in Napoleon. Then they moved to Hamler and had a furniture store there. After this they were in partnership known as Wesche and

Hagen Funeral Home and also had a furniture store together in Napoleon. Later they had their own funeral home and furniture store. They gradually retired in Napoleon, Ohio. They had three children: Walter, Antone, and Lora. Wm. passed away in 1948 at 70 and Christine died in 1966 at 83.

Walter, born April 23, 1905, married Ruth Mueller, born June 8, 1905, and was a funeral director and operated a furniture store. Walter and Ruth passed away in 1969 at 64 years of age. They had two children: Ann Caroline, born Dec. 2, 1935, married to W. Eugene Watkins, born Oct. 25, 1935; children: Wendy Christine, April 11, 1968, and Amy Elizabeth, born Oct. 3, 1969. William Henry, born June 19, 1938, married Clara Plotts Snyder, born Aug. 22, 1936. They have two children, Pamela Snyder, born May 13, 1962, and David Snyder, born Nov. 7, 1964. They live in Napoleon, Ohio.

Antone, born Jan. 27, 1908, married Virginia Wolff, born Feb. 20, 1913, and they operated a furniture store in Napoleon, Ohio. They had two children: Barbara Jean, born Aug. 11, 1935, married to Joe Rieger, born March 15, 1935, and they have three children: Linda Jean, born Sept. 30, 1956; Diane Lynn, born Aug. 21, 1958; Stephen, born June 1, 1961. Antone Wm., born Jan. 6, 1939, married Nancy Davis, born Feb. 19, 1936, and have two children: Heather Lynn, born May 7, 1965, and Kyle David, born June 15, 1972. Tony and Ginny now live in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Lora Christine, born Jan. 27, 1910, never married. She died in 1969 at the age of 59.
