Gayetta Karsner Green Family

Gayetta Karsner, the daughter of Adam Emanuel and Louisa Jane Crozier Karsner, M.D., was born on January 1, 1875 at Florida, Ohio. She married, on September 22, 1894, to Kingsley Taylor Green at Toledo, Ohio. He was born on November 6, 1870 at Lanesville, Indiana. He died on March 19, 1927 at Camden Point, Missouri. Gayetta died on December 14, 1961 at Colorado Springs, Colorado. They are both buried in the Mt. Mora Cemetery, St. Joseph, Missouri. The issue of Gayetta and Kingsley Green are, Ethlyn, Mildred, and Ralph Justice Green.

Ethlyn Green was born on May 12, 1896 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She married Thomas Tillery Jones in St. Joseph, Missouri on May 7, 1921. Ethlyn was a graduate of the University of Kansas, and Thomas was a graduate of the University of Missouri. She was a language teacher in college, and he was a cattle and horse breeder. Thomas was born July 7, 1896 in Camden Point, Missouri.

Their daughter, Mildred Ethlyn Jones, is a registered nurse. She was born May 20, 1923 in Mercy Hospital, St. Joseph, Missouri. She married John Benjamin Smith on September 17, 1944. John was born August 7, 1920. He is a T.V. specialist. They live in Raytown, Missouri. Their issue are Jaymille, born April 8, 1948, Kansas City, Missouri, married October 7, 1967 in De Soto, Kansas, David Lee Rountree; and Robert J. Smith, born April 25, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Mildred Green, the second child of Gayetta and Kingsley Green, was born on February 9, 1898 in St. Joseph, Missouri. She married Lawton Morrison Hanna on June 3, 1929 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is a graduate of the University of Kansas, a dietitian and home economics teacher. Lawton Hanna is a doctor, and a graduate of Kansas University. He was born on September 22, 1894 in Clay Center, Kansas. Their issue are Thomas Taylor Hanna and Frances Gayetta Hanna.

Thomas Taylor Hanna - ACCM - USNAS - was born July 24, 1930 in Mercy Hospital, St. Joseph, Missouri. He married Marian Louise Enke on December 17, 1950 in Green, Kansas. Their issue are Robert Charles, born January 26, 1958 in Olathe, Kansas; and James Lawton, born on July 21, 1960 in Olathe, Kansas.

Frances Gayetta Hanna was born August 16, 1933 in Clay Center, Kansas. She married Ronald Arthur Lenser on June 10, 1956 in Clay Center. He was born on October 4, 1932 in Fremont, Nebraska. She is a research chemist, graduated from University of Kansas. Ronald is a petroleum engineer consultant and graduated from the University of Kansas. They have Ronda Leigh, born June 18, 1960, Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and Leslie Wynne, born December 2, 1964 in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Ralph Justice Green, the third child of Gayetta and Kingsley Green, was born on February 2, 1902 in St. Joseph, Missouri. He died on January 28, 1971, in Colorado Springs, Colorado and is buried there. He married in Greeley, Colorado on September 16, 1939 Mari- del Rudd. She was born on May 6, 1911. He had a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Kansas and a master's from Greeley, Colorado. Maridel is a kindergarten specialist with a master’s degree from Columbia University, New York.
