Daughter of Henry and Anna Schwiebert, she was born Sept. 14, 1881, on home place 1 1/2 miles north and 1 mile west of Hamler, Ohio, Henry County. She married William Heinrichs who was born April 16, 1877, on a farm 1 1/2 miles north and 1/2 mile east of Hamler, Ohio, Henry County. He was the son of George and Mary Leaders Heinrichs. William and Anna lived on his father's farm in a small house across the road from the home place. They had one son, George who was born Oct. 18, 1909, and on Dec. 5 of that same year, William was killed in a tragic accident north of Hamler. They belonged to Hope Lutheran Church.
After William's death, Anna and her son, George, lived most of the time with her parents. When George was a little past thirteen years of age, Anna married Fred Gluss and they bought the house located beside the present school in Hamler. Fred and Anna never had any children from their marriage. Fred passed away Sept. 9, 1957, and Anna passed away June 8, 1968, at the age of 87.
George married the former Marjorie Ritz who was a school teacher. George has always been an auto mechanic all his life and he and his wife live in Hamler, Ohio. They have no children.
