Glenn Harrison Frysinger was born June 17, 1896, and died February 2, 1962. He and Vera L. Kitter were united in marriage on March 15, 1917, in Liberty Township. Vera was born August 17, 1894, and still lives on the Old Homestead farm in Liberty Township. She graduated from Napoleon High School in 1914. They farmed and raised Chester White hogs and for many years he and his sons showed them at the Henry County Fair. He served as a township trustee and a Liberty Center Public School board member for many years. They were members of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church where they served faithfully.
The children born to this union were: Dorothy, Doyle, Weldon, Burdette, Wylodene, Delmar, and Jeanette. They were all graduates of Liberty Center High School with the older ones starting out in a one room school.
Dorothy was born September 18, 1918, and married Delbert Dunbar of Delta, Ohio, on March 15, 1942. They reside in Delta and he is associated with the Dunbar Well Drilling. Their children are DeeAnn who married LeRoy Callahan and Cheryl is married to James Gardner. They each have two sons, Craig and Eric Callahan, and Scott and Brian Gardner.
Doyle W. Frysinger was born March 11, 1920, and was killed in action in World War Two on March 24, 1945, while serving in Germany.
Weldon was born May 17, 1921, and married Roberta Freeworth on October 26, 1946. Their children are: Kenneth, who married Peggy Cordes; Judith, married to Michael Russel; Linda, married to Bradly Gerken; and William at home. Roberta died April 14, 1973, and later Weldon married Helen (Hoover) Fisher. They reside in Napoleon, Ohio. He also served with the Air Corps in England during World War Two. Burdette was born October 14, 1922, and married Mary Lou George on February 18, 1951. To this union were born Curtis, Debra, and Pamela. Curtis lives in the state of Florida; Debra married Daniel Westhoven; and Pamela resides at home.
Weldon and Burdette have been associated with The L. S. Dunbar Co. of Napoleon for many years. They are the dealers of International Harvester Equipment and Lincoln-Mercury cars. They now own and operate this company.
Wylodene was born October 3, 1925, and married Ted Baughman, a farmer, on April 28, 1946. They reside on a farm in Harrison Township and they have three children. Stephen married Gayla Weasel and their children are Kelly and Todd. Peggy married Phillip Johnson and they have two daughters, Christy and Corie. Tom graduated from Ohio State University in 1974 as a mechanical engineer and he married Joan Foreman.
Delmar, born January 12, 1928, has been a farmer in Liberty Township all his life. He farms the Frysinger Homestead and raised Chester White hogs. He married Carol Long on April 9,1950. They reside in the house that his parents started housekeeping in 1917. They have been active in 4-H work, along with their children, serving as advisors. Their children are Sue, Sandra, John, Janet, and Jodi. Sue married Robert Meyers after she graduated from Findlay College. Sandra married Greg Weber and they have a daughter, Amber. John, Janet and Jodi reside at home.
Jeanette was born March 25, 1932, and married Lloyd Harms on April 5, 1953, and they reside on a farm in Flatrock Township. He is engaged in farming and also a substitute mail carrier. They have two daughters Karen and Rebecca. Karen married Gregory Williams and Rebecca attends Toledo Hospital School of Nursing.
