Louisa Jane Babcock Ferguson

Louisa Jane Babcock Ferguson - Wife of Francis Ferguson, was born Dec. 25, 1856, to Seth and Sara McCracken Babcock on a farm in Liberty Township, Henry Co., Ohio. She had 3 sisters: Melissa Babcock Rorick, Arleta Babcock, Alta Babcock; and 5 brothers: John Babcock, Frank Babcock, Art Babcock, Carl Babcock, and Harry Babcock. She married Francis Ferguson on Dec. 19, 1882. Jane, as she liked to be called, besides being a good mother to her 5 children spent many hours nursing the sick, delivering babies, and giving help where needed. She died May, 1930, and was buried on Mother's Day at Forest Hill Cemetery in Napoleon, Ohio.
