Kathryn Ferguson Fahringer

Kathryn Ferguson Fahringer - Born Dec. 16, 1918, in Toledo, Ohio, to Grover and Lena Hoffman Ferguson. When she was 1 year old her parents moved into their new house at 842 Toronto Ave. She attended kindergarten through 1st grade at the Arlington School portables and helped to move into the new school where she finished grade school. She graduated from Libbey High School in 1936 and worked for Berden and Co. On April 16, 1937, she and her sister Dorothy had a double wedding. Kathryn married Richard Fahringer of Napoleon, Ohio, and Dorothy married Russell Rausch of Napoleon, Ohio. Kathryn and Richard owned and operated Fahringer's greenhouse for many years in Napoleon until they sold and moved to Florida for her health. They became the parents of 3 children: MARILYN -born Oct. 12, 1938. She is married to Richard Leyes and they have 5 children, Gary, Jeffery, Julie, Sham, and Cheryl; THOMAS - born Mar. 25, 1942. He is married to Betty and they have 2 children; RICHARD - born Dec. 1946. He is married to Marilyn and they have 2 children.
