The Eidern children were Frederick Frankiscus (Frank Frederick, or Frank F.) born October 30, 1892, and Geneva Eiden born on July 19, 1895, and died September 13, 1896. She is buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Bavaria, Ohio. Mary Jane Daub was the housekeeper for Father George Verlet of Sacred Heart Parish, New Bavaria, Ohio.
The church was rebuilt during this time. Father Verlet had been ailing when he became pastor of the parish, and he became very ill at Sacred Heart Parish. Mary Jane cared for him, and kept up the domestic work as usual. When the church burned, Father Verlet died, or at least that was considered the death cause.
Mary Jane became ill and was under a doctor's care the rest of her lifetime.
Father John H. Michenfelder was designated pastor in May, 1879, and served until 1888.
Mary Jane Daub married Fred Eiden and lived in a three room log house on the forty acre farm located on Township Road #14, Pleasant Township, Henry County, Ohio.
