Thomas Durbin

Thomas W. Durbin, born 1784 (1794?) married Sarah McKnight. They had twelve children, nine sons and three daughters. Seven of the children settled in Henry County, Ohio.

William Washington Durbin was born in Frederick County, Maryland, in 1814 and settled near Texas, Henry County, Ohio, in 1839.

He enlisted October 15, 1861, in Company D., 68th O.V.I. and served three years.

He married Mary Ann Bruner of Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, and had the following children: William Washington Durbin, Jr.; Dr. Richard Durbin, graduate of Cleveland Medical College in 1883; Della G. Durbin, Sarah H. Durbin, and Clara A. Durbin.
