Donald Drummond Family

Donald Edward Drummong (b. Apr. 2, 1929) son of Charles Henry and Amelia (Gaul) Drummond of Toledo, Ohio. In 1931 his parents traded the house in Toledo for a farm in Fulton Co. He attended Wagner Country School for eight years and then attended Liberty Center High School graduating in 1947.

On Aug. 15, 1948 he married Bernadine Kathryn Beck (b. Sept. 4, 1929) daughter of Fred G. and Grace I. (Veigel) Beck. Bernadine attended Liberty Center School for twelve years graduating in 1947. After graduation she worked at the Community Bank in Napoleon until the birth of their first son.

Donald went into farming with his father-in-law in 1948 and farmed the Beck farm until 1974. In 1951 Donald became a telegrapher for the Wabash Railroad taking his training at the depot in Liberty Center, Ohio. The Wabash Railroad was bought by the Norfolk and Western Railway Company by whom he is presently employed at Defiance, Ohio.

In 1962 Donald and Bernadine purchased the 103 A. Beck Farm and now reside on Co. Road 10, Liberty Twp. in the house where Bernadine was born and has lived her entire life to the pres6nt. They are members of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon, Ohio where Bernadine's parents and grandparents were members.

Donald and Bernadine have four children as follows:

Ronald Edward (b. July 18, 1950) attended Liberty Center School for twelve years graduating in 1968. He then attended Bowling Green State University for two years and was then employed by Fred Creager and Sons of Liberty Center, Ohio on road construction and remains employed there. In 1971 he married Mary Ann Fitzenreiter (b. Dec. 15, 1950). They had one child Jennifer Ann (b. Oct. 3, 1971) Ronald and Mary Ann were divorced in 1976. Ronald then married Cathy Crossland (b. June 28, 1955) on Jan. 7, 1978. They reside in Liberty Center, Ohio.

Marvin Lee (b. Sept. 16, 1952) attended Liberty Center School for twelve years graduating in 1970. He became a Volkswagen mechanic in Defiance, Ohio and is• now owner of Little German Village, Used Volk swagen Sales and Service in Ridgeville Corners, Ohio. On Nov. 20, 1971 he married Linda Lou Fronce (b. July 30, 1953) and they have one child, Shelly Ann (b. May 7, 1972). They live on Woodlawn Ave. in Napoleon, Ohio.

Robin Kay (b. Apr. 20, 1962) is a student at Liberty Center High School.

Lori Jean (b. Oct. 27, 1967) is a student at St. Paul's Lutheran School, Napoleon, Ohio.
