Henry Dehnke History

Henry Dehnke was born in Hanover, Germany in April, 1845. He came to America in 1865. His death occurred on March 5, 1911.

Henry married Mary Rosebrock in 1875 in Freedom Township. Mary was born on October 15, 1850, a daughter of Peter and Emily Insbrock Rosebrock who came to America in 1869.

Henry and Mary Dehnke's children were Mary; William; Henry; Anna; Dora; Emma; and Louise.

The Peter Rosebrock children were William, Fred, Henry, Mary and Dora. Dora Rosebrock married William Meinke and had Ida, Anna, William, Dora and one more child.

William Dehnke married Dora Wesche and had Hilda, Lavina and Alice Dehnke.

Mary Dehnke married Charles Schroeder and their children were Lawrence, Ruth and Edwin.

Henry Dehnke married Minna Schroeder and they had Thelma and Freeman.

Anna Dehnke married- George Rohrs and their children were Alvera, Harold, Mildred, Edna and Ida Rohrs.

Emma Dehnke Schroeder had Helen, Orpha, Margaret and Ethel.

Louise Dehnke married John C. Meyer.
