Other Davis Families

William Davis, John Davis, Hattie Rue, and Emma Grube were brothers and sisters.

William Davis, a later generation, lost his wife in death, and in July, 1919, his children. Florence, Thelma, Myrtle, and Harold, lived at the Methodist Children's Home in Worthington, Ohio.

James Howard Davis was born on September 2, 1865 and died on June 24, 1906. He married, in Michigan, in 1885, Sarah E. Weirich, daughter of Frank and Mahala Wagner Weirick. Frank was born in Wayne County, Ohio, and Mahala in Sandusky County, Ohio. Sarah was born in Washington Township, Henry County, Ohio, on June 2, 1868. James and Sarah had three children. John W. married Hattie Reiser and their issue were Nina, Flossie, and Howard. Jane M. Davis was born on September 26, 1888 and died in 1910. Frederick Clay Davis was born on June 28, 1894 and married Chloe McCullough, and had Harold R. and Elizabeth J. Davis. Howard Davis was born on October 14, 1883.

There are mistakes in this history because of the confusion caused by each generation using the same names for their children. This is as correct as possible.

Many Davis family members are missing from this history due to the fact that no material was sent in by them or their heirs.
