Raymond spent several years in service in the U.S. Army during World War II, from September 4, 1942 until his discharge on November 29, 1945.
Raymond and Delora live in Ridgeville Township, Section 25. He is employed as a mason for Mel Lanzer Construction Company. They are members of Saint Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners, Ohio.
Patricia Aschemeier, oldest child of Raymond and Delora, married Elmer Maassel on April 15, 1967. Their children are Jeffrey Scott born on November 4, 1968, and Jennifer Lynn born on May 13, 1970. Jeffrey and Jennifer attend St. John Lutheran School, Freedom Township. Pat owns and operates "Pat's Beauty Shop" and Elmer works for the Harry Von Deylen Company, Napoleon, Ohio, as a mechanic.
Brenda Aschemeier was married on September 5, 1974 to William John Meyer. They have one daughter, Lisa Anne, born on May 7, 1974, in Napoleon, Ohio. Bill and Brenda live in Bowling Green, Ohio. He is a 1971 graduate of Ohio State University and is employed by the Myers Crop Center. They are members of St. Mark Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, Ohio.
Thomas Aschemeier entered service with the U.S. Army on October 17, 1972. He was stationed in Augusta, Georgia, for two years. He married Betty Mahnke on September 2, 1973. They have two children: Ryan Raymond, born June 4, 1974, and Jason Thomas, born on September 2, 1976. Thomas and Betty live in Napoleon, Ohio. Thomas is an employee of Campbell Soup Company, and Betty works part time as a beautician.
Terrence Aschemeier, the youngest child of the Raymond Aschemeier family, was born on August 21, 1957. He graduated from Archbold High School in 1975, and works for the Mel Wyse Construction Company of Fayette, Ohio.
