George William Crozier was born in 1788 in Ireland. He died after 1850, and when 62 lived in Shelby County, Orange Township, Ohio. He married Jane McKenna (McKinna) who died before 1837 in Ireland where she is buried.
George immigrated to America in 1837. It is thought he sailed from Col- Ion, County Lough. His father owned linen mills in Ireland. After the oldest living sister or brother died, George was notified and the suggestion made that the oldest living of this line come back to Ireland to claim the estate. Being frail and financially unable to make the trip, the mills were not claimed and no one has been able to find out what happened to the. mills, nor where they were located in Ireland.

Mary Jane was born in 1817 and was listed as 33 years old in the Ornage Township, Shelby County, Ohio 1850 Census. She married Francis G. Wiley who was the same age as Mary Jane.
Effie was born about 1820, married a Mr. Black, and stayed in Ireland. Their son, James Black, came to America and was drowned in the old canal at Defiance, Ohio.
Squire William John was born July 23, 1823. He was a carder and fuller, and owned and operated carding mills. He came to America in 1837. He died December 20, 1905 in Texas, Ohio and is buried in the cemetery there. He married Anna Ross on December 8, 1842. His second marriage was on July 3, 1856 to Louisa Jane Lucas in Defiance, Ohio. Lena (Brilina) was born in 1824. She married Robert Wiley in Miami County, Ohio.
Robert born in 1823, is thought to be a relative of William Crozier born in Ohio in 1827.
Richard J. was born April, 1824 in Ireland. He died May 15, 1900, aged 76 years on death certificate. He married on August 5, 1862 Lucy Ann Lowe at Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania. They had Russell, Philadelphia, Penna., John, Harrisburg, Penn., Mrs. W.L. Garland, of Virginia, and Richard, Pittsburg, Penn. Richard J. served in the Mexican War and the Civil War. His wife was dropped from the pension roll on October 13, 1924 because of death.
Mary was born in 1804 and died in 1858. She married Robert S. Johnston in 1830. Robert was born in Ireland and died in 1844. He was one of the earliest settlers of Laramie Twp., Miami County, Ohio. Robert G. Johnston, son of Robert S., was born in Shelby County, Ohio in 1838 and married Emma Van Vactors. Some Van Vactors are buried in Johnston Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio. Some of the Johnstons came from Ballyshannon, Ireland.
