Patrick Conway and wife, Jane, arrived in Henry County in the Liberty Center area, about 1863 where their three daughters and seven sons were reared. In 1912 they celebrated their Golden Wedding anniversary with all present, no deaths in fifty years.
The eldest Conway child, May, married William Duffy who was a lawyer in Napoleon; the second child, Thomas Conway, also practiced law in Napoleon.
James Patrick Conway, the seventh child, married Jessie Redfield and they had three daughters, Isabel Kerr, Jessie Brown, and Blanche Bushnell Knecht. James' grandson, James B. Kerr, now represents the Conways in Napoleon as does J. P. Conway's great-granddaughter, Sally Precht.
Seven of the ten children of Patrick and Jane Conway lived into their nineties.
