Coe Family

One of the families connected with the Edwards family of Henry County was that of Delia Coe's family. She has been referred to as a niece of Samuel E. Edwards, but the relationship is not explained.

Wayne County, Ohio Marriages list the marriage of Samuel Davis and Eunice Coe as occurring before 1818.

The guardianships of Henry County, Ohio, contain an entry for the appointment of Delia Coe as guardian of Charles H. and Robert M. Coe, children of Franklin R. Coe, deceased, and Delia Coe.

The estate of Franklin R. Coe who died on July 23, 1891, lists Delia Coe as his widow. His children are listed as Minnie Hull, Hamler, Ohio; Florence Ruegritz, Pueblo, Colorado; Kettie Clark, Pueblo, Colorado; D.S. Coe; Charles H.; and Robbie Coe; all of Hamler, Ohio. Robbie is listed as being the youngest child.

Charles Coe was born on May 17, 1876 and Robert was born on January 25, 1888.

The Coe family were residents of Marion Township.
