Thomas "Tom" G. Myers, 78, of Napoleon, Ohio, passed away Dec. 26, 2017, while on vacation with his family in Florida.
Tom was born to Frank and Helen (Root) Myers of Ridgevjl]e Corners April 5, 1939. Tom graduated from Ridgeville Corners High School in 1957. On Nov. 3, 1962, he married the love of his life, Lois Kay, who preceded him in death. Tom worked for Campbell Soup Supply Co., retiring after 32 years.
Tom enjoyed doing word searches, crosswords and other fun brain teasers. In his younger years Tom liked to bowl and throw horseshoes. He liked to bake and often made cookies for his grandchildren. Tom liked to be outside. He loved to mow his lawn and that's where he could usually be found. The one thing Tom loved to do the most was spend time with his family. He looked forward to seeing his grandchildren and great-grandchildren any chance he got. Tom was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.
Tom is survived by his children, Scott (Tina) Myers and Michael (Sherri) Myers; grandchildren, Bishop Myers, Shianne (Eric) Pivnicka, Cara (Michael) Boss, Joshua Myers and Kylie Myers; and six great-grandsons. Tom is also survived by his loving sister, Phyllis (Bob) Brubaker.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents, and beloved wife, Lois Kay Myers.
A memorial service will be held Friday,Jan.12, 2018, at Walker-Hoening Mortuary of Napoleon (333 W. Main St.) at 11 a.m. There will be a one hour visitation prior to the services. Burial will immediately follow at Glenwood Cemetery of Napoleon.
Memorials in Tom's memory may be made to Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor's choice.
