Dean K. Dreher, 56, of Wauseon died Friday at the University Medical College of Toledo.
Born May 11, 1951, in Bryan, he was the son of Pete and Marian (Rosenberry) Dreher of Bryan. On May 5, 1978, he married Kathryn Kimerer, and she also survives.
A retired Fulton County chief juvenile probation officer, he was a member of Wauseon United Methodist Church, American Legion Post #265 of Wauseon and Wauseon Elks. He was a three time All-American football player for Ohio Northern and a Williams County Hall of Fame member.
He is also survived by three daughters, Hillary (Shawn) Moore and Hope Dreher, both of Wauseon, and Hannah Dreher of Sylvania; a brother, Todd (Julia) of Inman, S.C.; and a grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. today at Rodenberger Funeral Home, Napoleon, Rev. Ellis “Hap” Itson Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Wauseon Union Cemetery.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henry County Humane Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
