Woodrow "Woody" W. Light, 70 of rural McClure, died Nov. 12 at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born Jan. 27, 1917, in Damascus Township to Frank and Iva (Zimmerman) Light. he married Velma Bliss on Feb. 25, 1936 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Virgil and John both of McClure; a daughter, Mrs. Larry (Ruth) Good, of Grand Rapids; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marie Hosman, of McClure. Light was a retired self-employed carpenter. He worked in a mill at France Stone Quarry, rural McClure. he attended the Wesleyan Church in Grand Rapids. Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at Rodenberger Funeral Home in McClure wit the Revs. Steve Clymer and Kenneth Williams officiating. Burial was in Hockman Cemetery.
