Obituary: Vivian J. Tussing, 81, of Deshler, died Jan. 19 at Oak Grove Quality Care. Mrs. Tussing was born in Washington, Ind., on Jan. 17, 1909 to Morton and Hattie (Gilmore) Zollars. On Nov. 24, 1924, she married Peter Tussing, and he preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Donald of Deshler and Robert of Holiday, FL., two daughters, Joyce Bremer of Deshler and Marjorie Salisbury of Ottawa; a sister Mildred Coss of Barron, Wisc.; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was a former employee of Tem-Cole Inc, McClure, and a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Deshler. Services were held Jan. 21 in Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home in Deshler, Rev. David Hendricks and Marilyn Chivington co-officiating with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
