Funeral services for Omadell Yoakum, 84, formerly of Leipsic, were held Tuesday at LaPoint Funeral Home in Ottawa with the Rev. William G. Robinson officiating. Burial was in Center Cemetery, Leipsic. Mrs. Yoakum died Feb. 13 at Putnam Acres Care Center in Ottawa. She was born March 22, 1902 in Putnam County to Austin and Aris (Fruchey) White. She married Charles Yoakum on July 22, 1935 and he died in 1966. Surviving are two half-sisters, Louise Desgrange of Leipsic and Bernice Brecht of Deshler. Mrs. Yoakum was a former employee of a nursing home. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Leipsic.
