Obituary: Obituary, Deshler Flag, June 12, 1930: Mrs. Christine Young, Widow of Civil War Vet Is Buried Sunday. Mrs. Christine Young, aged resident of Deshler passed away at her home in Deshler, last Thursday, June 5th, after a short illness of acute Lobar Pneumonia. Mrs. Young was born in Leipsic, June 29th, 1862, the daughter of John and Mary Carr Leffler and was at the time of her death, 67 years, 11 months and 7 days of age. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the U. B. Church with Rev. M. E. Kruse, former pastor, officiating. Burial was in the East Belmore Cemetery.
