Elizabeth A. Young, 82, of Napoleon and a 30-year summer resident of Jackson Hole, WY, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at Oak Grove Healthcare Center, Deshler.
She was bom on Nov. 29, 1918, in Deshler, to Emmit M. and Edna N. (Rayle) Wooley. She married Paul W. Young on Aug. 7, 1936, in Deshler and he died March 19, 1971.
Mrs. Young was a 1936 graduate of Deshler High School and was a homemaker. She formerly attended the Deshler First United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. James (Carolyn) Rebar, of Columbia. MD, and Christine Young, of Toledo, son, Kenneth, of Arlington, TX, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her sisters, Esther Koenigseker and Evelyn Seislove.
Friends may call Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. at the Rodenberger Funeral Home, in Deshler. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m: on Wednesday in the funeral home, with the Rev. R. J. Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donorβs choice.
