Mrs. Ira B. Halstead died at her home in the northeast part of town at 9 o'clock Monday evening, after an illness of only two weeks. She was 24 years of age and leaves two children, one 3 years old and the youngest 2 weeks. The funeral was held Wednesday morning at the family residence, conducted by Rev. Lytle, and the remains laid to rest in Woodlawn cemetery. The deceased was a daughter of Mr. B. F. Allen, of this city. The bereaved husband and relatives have the sympathy of the community in their sad affliction.
