Levi W. Young, 75, a retired farmer and carpenter of 401 Northeast Ave., died at 6:25 p.m. last Thursday at his residence. He had been ill four months.

Born Jan. 15, 1887 in Logan County, he was the son of Jacob and Sara (Weatherhead) Young. He married Susan Buehler and she died in 1959.

Surviving are sons, Vernon, Pioneer, and Walter, Spencerville; a sister, Mrs. Maude Marks, Santa Barbara, Calif.; brothers, William H., McComb, and Benjamin H., Deshler; step-daughters, Mrs. Howard Van Scoyoc, and Mrs Glenn Rader, Deshler; step-sons, John Buehler, Findlay; Harold Buehler, Marion, and James Buehler, Nashville, Tenn.; step-sister, Mrs. Don Leggett; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A former Bridgewater Twp. trustee, Mr. Young was a member of the Belmore Grange and Deshler's Methodist Church.

Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday in the church. The Rev. Aaron Sharp officiated with burial in West Belmore Cemetery.
