Christopher Andrew Marchal, 21, of Napoleon, died Oct. 28 at St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. Born in Defiance on April 21, 1970, he was the son of Alvine and Mary (Walters) Marchal. He was a senior at HOPE school and was taking vocational training at Filling Memorial Home of Mercy, Napoleon. He was member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Hamler. Surviving are his mother of Hamler, and brothers, Michael of Holgate and Kenneth of Hamler. Services were held in the Dubba-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler. Father Fred Duschl officiated. Interment was in the St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Hamler.
