Edward Hershey, warden of the Ohio penitentiary, died sudenly. His death was caused by a gastric hemorrhage and an autopsy disclosed that an artery in back of the stomach was ruptured. He was taken ill in the barber chair. The remains will be sent to Akron for burial.
