Nellie Adeline Rayle, 94, of Deshler, and formerly of Belmore, OH, died Friday,, Feb. 16, 2007, in Birchhaven Village, in Findlay.
She was born July 24, 1912, in Leipsic, to Joseph F. and Margaret Ellen (Wagner) Burwell.
On June 26, 1927, she married John Owen Rayle, in Belmore, and he died March 3, 1968.
Mrs. Rayle retired from the former Metal Forge Company, of Deshler, in 1973. She previously worked at Koppenhofer Brothers Poultry, of Deshler, and Food Packaging, of McComb.
She was a member of Deshler United Methodist Church and the oldest living member of the former Belmore EUB Church. She was a member of Deshler and McClure Senior Citizens arid the former Belmore Mothers Club. She was formerly active with the Belmore Village Election Board.
Surviving are her daughters, Emma Jean Hoops and Judith Hoops, both of Deshler; Connie Hoops, of Leipsic, and Brenda Smith, of Defiance; sons, Eugene (Kathy), of Ottawa; Owen 'Bob' (Betty), of Belmore; Archie, of Clarksville, TN, and William (Margaret) of Findlay; 37 grandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren; and 58 great-great-grandchildren.
