Raymond P. Wolf, 69, of Napoleon, died July 2 in the Holgate Quality Care Nursing Center. Born in Ridgeville Corners on Dec. 9, 1921, he was the son of Philip J. and Frieda (Arps) Wolf. He married Vereta Secondcost on June 5, 1959 and she died Nov. 16, 1987. Mr. Wolf worked for the McCord Corporation in Wauseon for 20 years. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon and was a World War II Army veteran and a life member of DAV Chapter 30, where he was a former member of Bert G. Tyler Post #300 of American Legion and a volunteer at Henry County Hospital. surviving are his sons, Thomas of Napoleon; Dennis of Holgate; and Kenneth of Poteau, Okla.; sisters, Irene Weber of Bryan, Selma Franks of Woodbridge, Va., and Denelda Latta and Lillian Showman, both of Napoleon; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Also preceding him in death were brothers, Elmer and Melvin. Services were held July 3 in St. Paul Lutheran Church in Napoleon. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, where members of the Napoleon veteran groups accorded military graveside services.
