Edgar J. Wenner, 83, of Lansing, Mich., and formerly of the Deshler area, died April 2 in St. Lawrence Hospital there. He was born Jan 20, 1908 in Henry County, the son of Thomas and Oddessa (Burk) Wenner. On Aug. 26, 1936, he married Doris L. Miller who survives in Lansing. Mr. Wenner was a die setter and general foreman for the Motorwheel Corp. of Lansing before retiring in 1971 after 37 years. Also surviving are his brothers, Robert of Tontogany; Wayne of New Bavaria, and Burton of Napoleon. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Dunmire. Services were held Apr. 5 in Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, with Rev. Robert Campbell of Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon, officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery Deshler. Walker Mortuary of Napoleon handled arrangements.
