Mae Clevidence, 76, formerly of Townwood, died Feb. 20 at the Hancock County Home. She was born July 1, 1910 in Deshler to George and Elizabeth (Powers) Ward. She married Walter Smith in 1941 and he died in 1941. She then married Arthur Clevidence in 1943 and he died in 1973. Surviving are two sons, Ward B. Smith of Findlay and Terry J. Clevidence of Lima; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Guy (Margaret) Conkey of Detroit. Mrs. Clevidence was a housewife and was affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Graveside services were held Feb. 22 at Sugar Ridge Cemetery in Leipsic with the Rev. Dick A. Powell officiating. Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, was in charge of arrangements.
