Obituary: A funeral Mass for Mary Ann Bratton, 85 of Leipsic was held Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church i Leipsic with the Rev. Al Miorin officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mc-Crate -Love Funeral Home Ottawa, was the scene of a rosary service. Mrs. Bratton died at her daughter's residence in Hamler after an extended illness. She wa born Oct. 26, 1901 in Putnam County to Charles and Dora (Voglepohl) Berger. Surviving are four sons, Charles of Danville, Bill of Ottawa, Francis of Rose City, MI and Richard of Concord, Ca; a daughter, Mrs. Art (Mary) Erford of Hamler; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; a brother, Victor Berger of West Leipsic; a sister Mr. Ruth Oren of Pandora. Mrs. Bratton retired in 1976 after 34 years as owner-operator of Mary Ann's Beauty Shop. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Leipsic, the Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Rosary Altar Society of the church.
