Obituary: Harry D. Walter, 67, of Township Road 230, died Thursday, Dec. 5 in the emergency room at Blanchard Valley Hospital. He was born April 25, 1924, in Wyandot County to Park and Eva (Thomas) Walter. He married Donna M. Beck on June 1, 1945 and she survives. Mr. Walter was a retired farmer. Also surviving are two sons, Donald D. of rural Findlay; Henry J. of McComb; two daughters Stella Buchanan of Findlay; Mrs. Tyrone (Clara J.) Prowant of Ansonia; 12 grandchildren; three brothers, Harold of Todd, N.C.; Gerald of Lambertville, Mich.; and two sisters, Mrs. Leroy (Luella) Deed of rural Findlay; and Mrs. Gerald (Alice) Foltz of Deshler. He was preceded in death by a brother, Glen; and a sister, Laura Belle Moore. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at Coldren-Crates Funerl Home, the Rev. Dan Young officiating. Burial was in Zion Bloom Cemetery near Vanlue.
