Funeral services for Pete Tussing, 82, of 201 S. Keyser St. in Deshler, were held at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home in Deshler with the Rev. Gene Landon officiating. Burial was in the Woodlawn Cemetery. Tussing died Nov. 29 at Oak Grove Quality Care Nursing Center. He was born Oct. 31, 1905 In Deshler to Charles and Leafy (Bowser) Tussing. He married Vivian Josephine Zollars on Nov. 24, 1924 and she survives. Also surviving are two sons, Donald of Deshler and Robert of Tampa, Fla., two daughters, Mrs. Gerald (June) Salisbury of Ottawa and Mrs. Louis (Joyce) Bremer of Deshler; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and a brother, Darrell of Deshler. Tussing was employed at Railway Express. He was a former Bartlow Township Trustee and formerly served on Deshler Village Council. He was a member of Macabees, Brotherhood of Railway, and St. Paul United Methodist Church, Deshler.
