Obituary: Funeral services for Eddie Sunderman, of Rt. 2, Deshler, will be held at St. John Lutheran church. Visitation will be held at Snyder-Bloor Funeral Home Deshler.Officiating will be Rev. Roger Marlow, burial will be in St. John Lutheran Church cemetery. Mr. Sunderman died unexpectedly at Wood County Hospital. He was born on Oct. 20, 1919 in Monroe Township. He was the son of August and Sophia (Meyer) Sunderman. He married Eltha Hoops on June 22, 1941 and she survives. Surviving are four sons; Jim of Defiance, Kenneth of Wauseon, David of Deshler and Richard of Hamler and 10 grandchildren. Two brothers Alvin and Arthur both of Hamler and one sister Alma Meyer of Malinta. A brother and sister preceded him in death. Mr. Sunderman was a self-employed farmer who retired in 1984. He served one term as President of Church Council and was a former trustee of St. John Lutheran Church.
