Funeral services for Darius Lynn Spangler, 32, of Malinta were held at Rodenberger Funeral Home i McClure with the Rev. Dana Bjorlin officiating. Burial was in Grelton Cemetery. Spangler was killed in a head-on collision early Sunday morning on U.S. Rt. 24 at Yawberg Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene according to the Toledo Post of the State Highway Patrol He was born March 29, 1955 in Malinta to Dennis and Ruth (Boden) Spangler, and they survive at Route 1, Malinta. Also surviving are two brothers, Ronald of Hamler and David of Malinta; two sisters, Denise Spangler of Napoleon and Mrs. Scott (Diana) Salsbury of Perrysburg. Spangler was a chef at the Town and Country Restaurant in Perrysburg. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Malinta.
