Edna E. Shufelt, 66, of McClure, died Sept. 21 at Flower Hospital in toledo. She was born Sept. 25, 1920 in Richfield Township to Leroy and Grace (McMaster) Spangler. She married Walter Shufelt on Sept. 21, 1938 and he survives. Also surviving are two sons, Bert of Stryker and Clare of Napoleon; four daughters, Joyce of Metamora, Mary Smith of New Haven, Michi., Marian Leonard of Grand Rapids, and Marilyn Bremer of Malinta; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, Homer of Bowling Green; and three sisters, Ruth Richardson, Beatrice Shepard and Margene Shepard all of McClure. She wa employed at Campbell Soup Co., Napoleon for more than 26 years, and was a member of the Roberts-McMillen American Legion Auxiliary and the McClure United Methodist Church and its Ladies Aid. Private services were held Sept. 24 at Rodenberger Funeral Home in McClure with the Rev. robert Damschroeder officiating. Burial was in Hockman Cemetery.
