Ralph O. Seiler, 80, of Oil Center Road, Cygnet, died Oct. 29 at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green. He was born May 8, 1907 in Henry County to John and Stella (Spangler) Seiler. He married Hazel Frances on Oct. 4, 1930 in Bryan, and she died Dec. 22, 1981. Surviving are two sons, Richard of Cygnet and Don of North Baltimore; a daughter, Mrs Walter (Marceil) Latta of McComb; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, John of Napoleon; and four sisters, Gladys of Batavia, N.Y., Pear Thurston of Custar, Nellis Ackerman of Cygnet, and Florence Winter of Lima. Seiler was a farmer. He was a member and master of the Wingston Grange. He was also a member and past master of the Wood County Pomona Grange. He was a member of the Seventh Degree Club and an associate member of the Buckeye State Sheriff's Association. Funeral services were held Nov. 1 at Smith-Crates Funeral Home in North Baltimore with the Rev. James Sisk officiating. Burial was in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
