Nelson William Stewart passed away quietly at his home, Thursday evening, May 13, after one year of ill health.
He wan born in West Milton, Miami County and in 1906, moved to Deshler where he continued his service for the Baltimore and Ohio railroad until his retirement in 1928.
He had attained the age of 78 years, 1 month and 23 days. He leaves to mourn his loss, his widow, three sons, Harry of Dayton, Waldo of Toledo and Robert of Detroit, two daughters, Mrs. Catherine Holder, Deshler and Mrs. Martha Spencer, Chicago. Twelve grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held from the late home Saturday afternoon, with the Rev. J. V. Bigelow officiating. Interment was made in the Woodlawn cemetery with Gilford Dubbs in charge.
