Funeral services for Virginia M. Morris, 63, of Route 2, Deshler, were held June 18 at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home in Deshler with the Rev. Dennis Arndt officiating. Burial was in West Belmore Cemetery, Belmore. Miss Morris was pronounced dead on arrival at St. Rita's Ambulatory Care Center, Ottawa, following a one-car accident near Leipsic the evening of June 15. She was born Oct. 13, 1923, in Henry County to Freeman and Bertha (Schwartz) Morris. Surviving is a brother, Charles of rural Deshler. Miss Morris had been secretary for the Putnam County Superintendent of Schools, Ottawa, for 35 years. She was a member of First Christian Church of Leipsic.
