Obituary: Ruth A. Barfell, 44, of Bowling Green, died on Jan. 15 at Wood County Hospital, Bowling Green of natural causes. She was born June 24, 1936, in Henry County, to Carl and Geneva (Snyder) Bremer. She married Herschel Barfell on Nov 29, 1969 and he survives. Also surviving is a son, Mark A., at home. Mrs. Barfell was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Church of Brethren both of Deshler. Funeral services were at Dubbs-Rodenberger, the Rev. Roger Harding officiating. Burial in Deshler Woodlawn Cemetery.
