Deputy sheriff in Wood county, fatally injured near Mortimer while endeavoring to overtake an automobile that was exceeding the speed limit. Beaverson had turned out to pass another car, when motorcycle and car collided, both going into the ditch. Beaverson's skull was fractured and one leg was broken in six places. He died two hours after the accident in the Findlay hospital. His home was in Bowling Green and he leavesa wife and three children.
