Frank Augenstein, a fur buyer, was instantly killed and Fred Fahrer wa badly cut when their machine was hit by a truck belonging to the Auglaize Power & Light Compnay of Defiance, on the Napeoleon-Holgate road Thursday night. Augenstein's neck was broken when he was hurled against the windshield of the machine. Both men were residents of Napoleon. Fahrer, who was driving was cut on his face and legs but was able to walk to his home after being taken to Napoleon in Boyer's ambulance. It is said that the machines were runnig without lights and that the truck ran into Fahrer at a curve in the road, one mile north of Holgate.
