Glen Louis Rayle, 71, of Pioneer, died Wednesday, Jan. 13, at Medical College of Ohio, Toledo.
He was born April 22, 1927, In Bartlow Township, the son of Cecil J. and Ethel E. (Shank) Rayle. On June 21, 1984, in Pioneer. he married Karen J. Schultz and she survives.
Mr. Rayle was a truck driver for Fountain City Leasing and Hornish Brothers, Inc., since 1990. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the Pioneer American Legion post.
Also surviving are his sons, Gary (Susan), of Deshler: James W.. of Holgate, and Robert (Pam), of Mt. Gilead: daughters, Mrs. Rick (Debra) Smith, of Findlay, and Angela Click, of Pioneer; stepsons, Darrell (Barb) Knepper, of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Roy Selby, of Harvey, La.; stepdaughter, Mrs. Tad (Judy) Chemelewski, of Fort Wayne: brothers, Floyd, of Deshler, and Cloid, of South Houston, Tex.: sisters, Helen Lutz and Imogene Lewis, both of Deshler: 14 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Rayle.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Pioneer United Methodist, with the Rev. Daniel Bare officiating. Burial . was in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer, with graveside rites accorded by the Pioneer American Legion post.
The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
