Arthur H. Schwiebert, 76, of Napoleon died Sunday, July 14 at the Northcrest Nursing Home. Born in Henry County Dec. 24, 1913, he was the son of Frederick and Emma (Helberg) Schwiebert. A Monroe Township farmer for a number of years, he was also a retired employee of the Automatic Feed Co. at Napoleon. A former resident of Ashland, Ore., he was a member of that city's Masonic and Elks lodges. He was also a member of Hope Lutheran Church, rural Hamler. Surviving are four daughters, Gay Pfaendler and Martha Crawford, both of Portland, Ore., Betty Stocks of San Antonio, Texas, and Anna Smart of Wickes, Ark.; two sisters, Martha Otte of Lima and Christine Meyer of Hamler; four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, in Hope Lutheran Church, rural Hamler, Rev. Norman Norden officiated. Interment was in the church cemetery.
