Charles L. Spence, 52, of Lot 30, Lawndale Mobile Home Park, Weston died Wed., Feb 25 at his residence. He was born Feb. 16, 1929 in Hancock County to Loren and Viola Spence. His mother, Mrs. Viola Harrison, survives in Deshler. On Aug. 24, 1950, he married Lola Graham and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. David (Sue) Kassow of Weston, Mrs. Jerry (Donna) Coleman of McClure; a son, James of Deshler; 10 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Ray (Bessie) Stroud of Nevada; Mrs. Linda Kinder of Deshler. Mr. Spence was an Army veteran and a member of the Deshler American Legion and the Deshler Eagles. Funeral services were at Dubbs-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler; the Rev. Paul Conrad officiated. Burial was in Weston Cemetery.
