Obituary: Charles W. Shoemaker was the husband of Susan (Huether) Shoemaker. He was the last surviving son of Thomas & Catharine (Van Fleet) Shoemaker, who were among the earliest settlers in northwestern Ohio and the Maumee valley. His occupation, Civil Engineer. Both of his parents were born in Pennsylvania. Mr. Shoemaker had completed a family history, which is soon to be published. He is survived by the widow and two daughters, rs. Jennie Cook of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Miss Alice at home.
