James E. Rosebrook, 48, of Ottawa, died July 17 in St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima. Mr. Rosebrook was born April 30, 1943 in Deshler to Eugene E. and Wilma (Koehnke) Rosebrook, who survives in Deshler. He married Arnette Jones of May 24, 1986, and she also survives in Ottawa. Mr. Rosebrook was an employee of Philips Display Components, Ottawa. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Deshler, where he sang in the church choir and taught Sunday School. He was a former Big Brother and a Vietnam era veteran. Also surviving are his stepson, James Courtney II, of Gilboa; stepdaughters, Sanara Courtney and Angela Courtney both at home; Mrs. Jeffrey (Samantha) Kezer, of Columbus Grove; three step-grandchildren; brothers, Donald of Deshler, and Stephen of Pickerington; sister, Mrs. Wayne (Marlene) Mohring, of Malinta, and maternal grandmother, Anna Koehnke of Deshler. Funeral Services were held July 20 in St. John's Lutheran Church. Deshler. The Rev. Ed Dodt officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. McCrate-Love Funeral Home, Ottawa, handle the arrangements.
